Our year 2022 is once again punctuated by encounters! Between local actions and trade shows, we've been lucky enough to be able to get involved in local cultural life, and we're now getting ready to head for the south of France, and then Germany, for our autumn events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giron, partner of the second edition of L'Art en vrac<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last July, we had the pleasure of partnering the second edition of the L'Art en vrac festival, organized by the ch\u00e2telleraudaise association Zone d'arts. The event invites artists from all horizons to spend a weekend creating a work of art using recycled materials (metal, wood, plastic, etc.). Open to the public free of charge, L'Art en vrac showcases art in all its forms, and even invites artists, painters and craftsmen to exhibit their creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the event took place in Cenon-sur-Vienne, it was an opportunity for us to get involved in local, artistic and eco-responsible life. Not only did we contribute financially to the event, but we were also able to donate scrap steel to the forty or so artists who came to perform live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend began with the opening of the recycled metal dumpster, which we attended, and ended with the auction of works created during the event. It not only raised the profile of our local culture, but also provided support for the artists after the difficulties encountered during the Covid period. All profits were donated to the artists, some of whom chose to donate to charitable organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our next trade fairs in France and Germany<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In October, Giron will be exhibiting at the following trade shows SIM<\/strong> and Bauma<\/strong> !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SIM 2022: the mineral industry trade show<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A year ago we told you about\u00a0SIM 2021<\/a>\u00a0which took place in Lille, the 2022 edition will be an opportunity to renew our presence, meet up with our customers and partners from the extractive industry and make new acquaintances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's convention will be held\u00a0October 19-21 in Marseille<\/a>\u00a0and will focus on the mineral industry's contributions to biodiversity and climate. Eight workshops will be organized around the ecological responsibility of our businesses, punctuated as always by moments of exchange between exhibitors and industry players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Exhibitors' Forum will of course continue: we'll once again have a stand to present Giron's activities, showcase our expertise and talk to our visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BAUMA 2022: the construction machinery trade fair<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our journey continues, from October 24 to 30, with the 33rd edition of the\u00a0Bauma in Munich\u00a0<\/a>! The world's leading meeting place for construction and mining professionals, it attracted almost 500,000 attendees at its last edition in 2019. The event was suspended due to the health crisis, but resumes this year with an array of new sector-specific features. Here, we'll be learning about the new technical and digital challenges facing our businesses, discovering innovations in the sector and, above all, meeting our international partners. Three years ago, Bauma welcomed professionals from 200 different countries!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
