Wire hooks
At first glance, hooking directly onto wires may seem less expensive for 5 to 8 mm wires, but when you consider :
a. Deterioration of profiles or tension shields after a few cloth changes, due to wire anchoring
b. As a result, any tension faults on the fabrics will shorten their lifespan.
c. The difficulty of mounting and dismounting the screens for your maintenance department, the most important point due to the downtime of your installations.
In the end, it often turns out to be a false economy, costing much more than the gain made at the time of purchase.
Sheet metal hooks
Tin hooks are therefore widely used. There are many different types, depending on the screen, wire diameter, type of tension...
Hook direction
As some canvases have a working direction, it is essential to specify the orientation of the hooks using the H or B indices:
- H: for upward-facing hooks with lateral tension
- B: for downward-facing hooks under longitudinal or lateral tension
- HB: for inverted hooks in longitudinal tension
